Regional Competitions

BC Coast Region hosts two regional competitions per year: Jingle Blades in late November, and BC Coast Regional Championships & WinterSkate in late January/early February. The Yukon is part of the BC Coast Region as it is easier for skaters to travel to Vancouver for competitions and seminar. The Gold Nugget Championships are hosted at the beginning of December by the Arctic Edge Skating Club in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Jingle Blades and WinterSkate competitions rotate among region clubs acting as the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), under the coordination and leadership of the Competition Committee of the BCCR Board of Directors.
